Windows 7 is the new OS from Microsoft. And for some reason, they are not letting out much details about this OS. So I don’t think we’ll be able to get our hands on it any time soon. But what if we get to enjoy its look and feel on Windows XP and Vista, eh? Since not much is known about the OS, this theme looks more like Windows Vista, but its nice to see some refreshing changes to the same old look.

How To Install Windows 7 Theme In Windows XP

• Download the Windows 7 theme from here.
• Install “UXTheme Multi-Patcher 6.0.exe” from “UX Theme Patcher” folder.
• In case if u danot have uxtheme patcherIn spite of all the problems that have come with Windows XP SP3, people are still using it. If you are also one of them, then you must have noticed that your 3rd party Windows XP themes have not be working after installing service pack 3. That’s because the uxtheme.dll has been changed.

  To fix this, you will need the UXtheme Patcher in order to run any 3rd party themes on Windows XP. Download it from here and run the EXE file. Press the Patch button, and wait for a few seconds for it to patch. Now restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

  If you would like to copy the uxtheme.dll manually, then download its the latest SP3 version from here and paste it in C:\Windows\system32\ (Overwrite if needed). Restart your computer for changes to take effect.

  Now you should be able to use 3rd party themes without any problems.

• Double-click “Windows 7 M1 VS.msstyles” in “Theme\Windows 7 M1 VS” folder to install and enjoy!.
